The blend is comprised wholly of Uji matcha—ensuring the use of only first-harvest leaves and the most traditional production and preparation methods to preserve its purity. The city of Uji is renowned for tea production of all sorts but is most recognized as being the birthplace of the tea ceremony and home to the highest quality matcha.

Such a good umami, and perfect astringency. I normally don’t like astringent matcha, but this one is so well balanced. Very creamy and froths beautifully. I wish I had ordered two or more.

Wow! I always get the Blue container ceremonial blend and tried this one for the first time and I love it!! It’s soooo good. I actually like it more! It’s so creamy. I absolutely love Rocky’s! They have the best Matcha!

This one was perfect. The powder was GREEN and Extra FINE (no sifting needed)!! The taste! It has a little of everything! Umami, slight nutty, and not bitter if even say it’s naturally sweet! But if you missed this don’t worry I think it compares to the okumidori so give that a try if you want to.
