We are pleased to debut a new chashaku, designed by Japanese lacquerware experts Nishimoto. The chashaku—a traditional tea scoop—is made from traditional Yamanaka woodworking & lacquering practices. The region is known for the highly specialized craft, with a storied history dating back to the1500s (Tensho Era). rocky’s matcha Chashaku appears in our signature blue hue.

Perfect tool to scoop matcha!
The coating on the chashaku makes it super easy to clean as compared to the wooden ones.

Love it!
I've been thinking about buying this for awhile, and I'm so glad I did. My chashaku from Amazon was starting to wear quite a bit despite following care instructions. This one is not only much easier to clean thanks to the lacquer, but it's also a beautiful addition to my matcha set up. Love the vibrant blue!
