Description

rocky's matcha is thrilled to offer our signature blend of houjicha from award winning producer, Mr. Kiyoharu Tsuji. Houjicha, sometimes spelled as "hojicha" is a roasted green tea that contains less caffeine than sencha or matcha.

 

Our signature houjicha uses stems and leaves from Tsujiki's tencha and is slow roasted at a relatively low temperature to preserve the flavor and taste of the tea.

    Amazing blend!!

    My first time trying houjicha, it was nutty and delicious and I love to pair it with agave and pistachio syrup. Will be buying again ty Rocky’s :)
