Mr. Tsuji, or Tsuji-san, as we know him by, has produced award winning tea for the Japanese Imperial Family and his teas have consistently tested to have the highest amino acid scores and contents of L-theanine. The Asahi single cultivar matcha is the flagship matcha grown by Tsuji-san and features a concentrated umami taste with notes of vanilla.

So good and so creamy!! I was shocked by how naturally sweet it was with minimal sweetener!! Easily one of my faves. If you enjoy the nami kana matcha, you’ll love this one!

The taste of seaweed is definitely there but it is not unpleasant in anyway. The creaminess and umami are quite nice on this matcha
